| Mountain biking has not just been a man’s sport for a long time now. According to a questionnaire in the magazine “Bike” 30% of all mountain bikers are now female.
Team Rocky Mountain also sent the world’s best women to the start alongside the two top German athletes Karl Platt and Carsten Bresser. The team includes Lesley Tomlinson, Marie Hélène Prémont, Gretchen Reeves, Alison Sydor and, since the European championship in Frammersbach, Pia Sundstedt – five powerful women for Team Rocky Mountain Business Objects sponsored by SIGMA SPORT®. The Finn Pia Sundstedt has been mixing it in the marathon scene this year and is a good addition to the previously successful quartet of Team Rocky Mountain Business Objects.
The experienced foursome has already landed some impressive titles. Be it Transalp-Challenge, World Championship or Olympic Games – they are always among the first to finish.
