As part of the 2009 Plus X Awards, SIGMA SPORT® has been awarded the Plus X seal of approval for "functionality" in the equipment section with its ROX 9.0 bike computer.
This award only honours manufacturers for the advance in quality of their products and at the same time is the symbol for genuine brand quality.
Products that have been awarded the Plus X seal have shown that they possess qualities which only branded products can offer: innovative strength, excellent design, a high level of functionality, ecologically meaningful efficiency and well thought out ergonomics.
The distinguished jury made up of specialised journalists and industry personalities, who looked at almost 1,000 products from all technology as well as sport and lifestyle sectors, certified that the ROX 9.0 bike computer provides added value for the consumer.
Especially in terms of functionality, besides convenient use SIGMA SPORT® also handed the consumer well thought out instructions with the ROX 9.0, which only then really open up the innovative features to the user.
According to the view of the jury, it was clear that the development, product design and technical communication departments at SIGMA SPORT® have worked hand in hand.
The jury's evaluation: "The SIGMA SPORT ROX 9.0 bike computer is a genuine all-rounder.
The STS digitally encoded 3-channel wireless transmission allows several signals to be transmitted simultaneously.
After training, altitude measurement, heart rate, cadence and temperature measurement can be easily transferred to the PC, displayed in graphic form and analysed."
With the Plus X Award seal, SIGMA SPORT® proves once more that developing a high end product like the ROX 9.0 and introducing it to the market is also possible with a product that gives good value for money.
