A great response for the new heart rate monitors and innovative
running computer at Ispo 2011 |
|
|
Ispo, the world’s largest sports products trade fair, closed its doors in Munich on Wednesday evening to commence preparations for next year’s event together with the entire sports sector. And it was certainly an exciting event: At 9.00 a.m. on the dot on Sunday morning, 6th February 2011, throngs of visitors swarmed the exhibition grounds to discover comprehensive information about the innovations and new products on offer from the 2,267 exhibitors from more than 49 countries.
And there was a great deal to see in 17 halls with an area of 185,000 square meters,
or approximately 20 football pitches. Thanks to the division into the key topic areas of sportstyle, board, ski, outdoor and performance, trade fair visitors could quickly find their way around and head straight for specific companies and areas of interest.
Many of the more than 80.000 visitors found what they were looking for in hall B4, the performance hall and, for four days, home of the SIGMA team. In line with the core message ‘Heartbeat in new colors’, the new SIGMA heart rate computer was colorfully exhibited on the almost 20-meter-long, brightly-lit stand and certainly caught the eye. The SIGMA employees presented the latest heart rate monitors and running computers from the Neustadt-based font of ideas and innovations.
Visitors were interested in the new PC 3.11, PC 10.11 and PC 15.11 models, which stood out through their innovative designs and trendy colors, as well as the RC 14.11 running computer. In addition to the lap function, runners can use the USB docking station and SIGMA DATA CENTER 2.1 software included with the RC 14.11 to upload all their training data to their home computer for analysis purposes after their run.
Specialist retailers praised not only the new range’s functions but also its design, giving the SIGMA team a sense of optimism for the 2011 sports season.
The new products will be available from retailers from the third quarter of 2011.
